Room Viewer®
automatically generates quality event and meeting space diagrams for
conferences, meetings, special events, etc., from a unique
fill-in-the-blanks form.
The software positions screens and projectors using throw distance,
checks fire code and creates Event Inventory reports in either English or
Spanish. Room Viewer can automatically create crescent style seating for
rounds, display maximum seating and it is intuitive and simple to use.
Room Viewer can
lay out unique event spaces while avoiding obstacles and staying within
the space and can chevron sets with one keystroke. The Shape Editor
allows users to create custom shapes and the Room SchematicTM add-on creates accurate templates
of both rectangular and non-rectangular spaces. Additional shape
libraries include Catering, Casino, Buffet Lines, Games and Advanced
Audiovisual shapes.

· Thumbnail Views – You asked for
it and now it’s here! Do you want the capability of viewing the shape
before placing it on the diagram or need the ability to select multiple
shapes to place on the diagram at the same time? This is the answer to
your dreams. There are now three views for selecting shapes for placement
on a diagram. The views are the List box, the Category View and the
Thumbnail View.
· PDF or BMP Images - Now, in
addition to being able to save and email jpeg files, you will be able to
save and email your diagrams in bitmap and Adobe pdf format. This gives
users a wide choice of formats to communicate with their clients and
facilities. The pdf format allows users to include the heading
information located at the top of the diagram and also lets users save
the Event Inventory Report.
· Print Selected Area – Have you
ever wanted to print a part of your diagram so that this section fills
the printout? Once this feature is selected you can net select (lasso) a
section of the diagram and it will be printed.
· Zoom to Point - This tool offers
the ability to zoom in on a selected area of the diagram. Using the
spyglass function all you need to do is net select (lasso) a section of
the diagram that you want to see close up.
· Flip – We added a function that
allows you to flip (mirror) a shape or group of shapes on the diagram, in
the Shape Editor, or in Room Schematic. You can flip both horizontally as
well as vertically.
· Buffet Line Inventory – For
those of you that own our pre-configured buffet line shape library, you
will love this new way of presenting the information on the report. As of
version 6.0, Room Viewer indicates the number of buffet lines and states
what tables comprise them for a more accurate picking list.
· Redo – Use this feature to back
out of an Undo.
